Jennifer Heisler
Jennifer Heisler, the founder of Silver Crescent Consulting, has logged more than 15 years in marketing, advertising, public relations and strategic planning, helping both non-profit and for-profit organizations chart their courses for success. Her wide range of experience includes every aspect of marketing, advertising, corporate communications, public relations, event planning, and business development.

Prior to striking out on her own in 2007 when she moved to the Charleston area, Jennifer was the Marketing Manager for the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) in Washington, DC. She developed and executed strategic marketing and communications initiatives for the non-profit organization, focusing primarily on major funders and cause-marketing programs.

Jennifer also gained a wealth of public relations and marketing experience prior to her term at NCPC while managing client relations for The Borenstein Group, a top-25 advertising agency in the Washington, DC metro area and as marketing manager for Templar Corporation, a software engineering firm specializing in law enforcement technologies.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL and is a member of the American Marketing Association, Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, and Coastal Network Cooperative.

Jennifer has spent her whole life working to advance various causes. Over the years she has given countless animals a place to live, sometimes temporarily and sometimes permanently, which is how her three dogs and macaw (a very talkative bird) came into her life. Currently, Jennifer is a member of the Dee Norton Lowcountry Children’s Center’s “I believe…” committee and volunteers with the Charleston Animal Society as a foster parent and photographer.

With a lifelong love of water and boating, volunteering with the USCG Auxiliary was a natural fit. Jennifer holds appointed positions as both the Flotilla Staff Officer for Public Affairs and Publications. When not working, Jennifer is often found on the water on safety patrols with the Auxiliary or enjoying her own vessel, Horizon Seeker.

She and her clients have been published in Charleston Outdoors, Island Eye, Charleston City Paper, Lowcountry Dog, Police Chief, VisitSouth, Sun News, Moultrie News, Georgetown Times, Post & Courier, Island Magazine and Charleston Regional Business Journal.
