The Sweet Taste of L.I.M.E.

We were privileged enough to be invited to photograph the L.I.M.E. Charleston event on June 11, 2011 to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, Charleston Animal Society, and Hidden Wounds. As event planners ourselves, it’s always fascinating to see an event from the other side!

Local chefs like Eric Gaffin of New Dream Catering, Jeremiah Bacon of Oak, Daniel Doyle of Poogan’s Porch, JJ Kern of Hucks Lowcountry Table, Ken Immer of Grawnola, Travis James and Jon Cropf of Blu, Craig Deihl of Cypress, Dan Killoran of 82 Queen, Cory Burke of Roti Rolls, and Ulfet Ralph of U R The Cook all contributed their culinary talents.

The 560 RED HORSE Squadron Booster Club served 9 of the 11 gourmet courses in a field in the shadow of impressive Air Force planes, all behind the security that surrounds Joint Base Charleston. There’s nothing like some military planning and execution to make sure the meal is served quickly.

Check out our photos (proof that they actually allowed us on base)! And if you or someone you know needs event photography, we’d love to help!
